I didn’t grow up with AUTUMN. Trees never chucked their leaves across the place where I was born. I remember being genuinely impressed with the colours of autumn when I first arrived in this country. It still impresses me today.
Incidentally, Hiro says I look like a “funky granny” when I dress like this. Good thing I happen to think granny style is FAB.
Autumn is less of a display in the city scape of London. Though there are some spots where I can still immerse myself in the wonderment of it all. We took these photos in the front garden of the splendid Geffrye Museum in Hackney before they cleared away the leafy litter.
