| Personal Care | Winter Radiance

Winter doesn't exactly bring out the best in my skin. The harsh winds, bitter cold and the dessicating effect of central heating all take their toll. That said, there are a few skincare products that have been lessening the strain and helped to boost a bit of radiance so far this winter.

| Korres Black Pine Night Cream |

Overnight firming and hydrating moisurister that is great for my winter dry skin. You can find more details and a list of ingredients HERE

| Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask |

I have been recommending this mask to everyone looking for a skin renewing mask lately. It's been working so well for me in making fine lines less obvious as with an all round brightening of my complexion and it smells lovely! Find out more about it from the company website HERE

| Boots Botanics Microdermabrasion Polish |

Great for polishing up the skin as part of my weekly routine. Helps to keep things smooth and the blackheads at bay. I feel as though I do need to follow it up with my regular gel cleanser but it is a great value product at worth a try if you are looking for a new scrub to try out.

What about you? Got any new winter skincare favourites to share?

  1. A new skincare/bodycare fav of mine is Kiehls cream deodorant - no burning/stinging and it keeps me fresh :). Hmm, I tried the Boots Microderm.Polish but its too harsh for me .. the Korres Night Cream sounds good though. Thanks for posting :)

  2. I love the Boots Botanics range! It's all half-price right now too, I think. I use their face wash and it's the best thing I've ever used, even more so than expensive stuff.

  3. Winter skin is such a complex thing to manage. I find that every year my skin seems to want different things and what worked before can now turn out to be a total disappointment. I suppose I'm lucky to at least live near the ocean - all the moisture in the air is a big help!

  6. These look great. My skin hasn't been too bad, I've been trying to keep up with the moisturisers and masks. I should really get some oils though as it works a bit better in winter. These look great, never used them before, only Botanics, I love their eye make-up remover, best one i tried and the oil in it always soothes around my eyes :) xx

  8. Yeah. I hear you. My skin and my hair.. winter has been pretty brutal.. or perhaps winter has made what underlying problems I already had worse. I just switched to some Lush products and Aesop and so far have liked them very much. I also tend to literally have the space heater right next to me and sometimes I let it blow on my face. Aren't I terrible? :)
