| Night Lights | Millennium Bridge

We are back in London having taken a bit of a respite from the city. Fully rested and beaming with inspiration, we are ready to press PLAY and stroll ahead with our blogging adventure. Thank you for bearing with us and thank you also for being so kind bout our new blog layout. We thought that it would provide an easier way for everyone to keep up with our daily musings - so far so good!

London casts a scintillating spell from this spot at night. The views from the Millennium bridge are amongst the most photographed in London yet, even to us who've been here for years, it still manages to conjure up some magic.

  3. Welcome home! And what a beautiful post to come back with - your nighttime photos are always breathtaking. The way cities are lit up at night is one of the things that I miss most about Europe. Our cities here in Canada are very dimly lit, particularly in residential areas. I have actually found myself in some neighbourhoods where there is no light at all at night and contrary to the way it might seem, it is not particularly romantic - just difficult to find one's way around!

  14. Beautiful photos! Funnily enough, upon first glance, I could have sworn these were photos of Austin, Texas. If you take a photo of capitol building from the downtown area, the image would look strikingly similar to what you have posted here, down to the birds/bats!
