Mocha Brown Moist Souffle For Your Eyes Only!

I am a huge fan of cream shadows. I tend to slick them on like war paint before rushing out. I have added two more Japanese cream shadows to my collection and thought that brief reviews may be helpful to some of you.

//Canmake Tokyo Moist Souffle Shadow in Mocha Brown:

Presented in a jewel-like clear plastic casing, the shadow is indeed much like a souffle. It has a light springy texture that just glides onto the lids.

Applied, mocha brown is more of a translucent caramel brown shade with flecks of gold and bronze shimmer throughout. I rather like the subtle glow and sheen that it provides.

The Canmake Moist Souffle has the additional bonus of containing squalane, hyaluronic acid and aloe leaf extract to help treat the lids.

Heavily swatched.

I find this a little to thin to wear on it's own or as a base as it tends to fade quite quickly. Layering the product only results in aggravating the amount of creasing after a few hours. However, when used with the NARS Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base it does stay put.

What it looks like on the eye with nothing else.

  1. Just the word souffle has me! Wish I'd known about these sooner so I would have asked my mum to buy me some! Oh well! XD Always the next time!

It looks so soft...and edible. It actually looks more like chocolate mousse to me. *drools* Maybe it's probably better I dont have one, cos the temptation to eat it would be overwhelming!

Shame about the creasing and fading, but as long as a shadow base puts it right then that's ok! I will check out this NARS shadow base the next time I run out of UDPP. It's a real shame it didn't agree with your eyelids! Thankfully it doesn't bother mine. I say thankfully because I bought a the squeezy tube version this time which has more product in it I think! Haven't opened it yet, but probably will do soon!

  3. This does seem "tasty" for the eyes. It's a really pretty shade too! I haven't tried any cream shadows before as i always fear that they will crease horribly. ><

  6. It is a nice shade but it does crease like rumpled old bed sheets. I wish It didnt.

  7. They are very moisturising but lack the holding power of the JS jellies. Such a pity!
