Tea of the week: African Solstice

Rooibos is my favourite tea to relax with. It is soothing like no other. It's low in tannins and free of caffeine and just delicious.

This rather special blend was a gift from my blogging friend Jenn. She must know me very well to pick something cute, different with an African influence!

The presentation alone makes me sit back and smile.

African Solstice is a floral berry infusion with a heady vanilla hit. This is not your delicate flavoured blended tea, its more of a comfy patchwork quilt of flavours coming a you from everywhere yet at the same time, it's comforting and cosy.

Incidentally, I managed to find Frankie Magazine in London! Very happy indeed as I seldom read any magazines.

  10. After reading one of your previous posts about Tea Forte, I ordered a medium box to take to Africa with me. Having Rooibos tea in Africa was actually a great achievement in my life :P
