Prettty paper

There are many things that I have been unable to grow out of liking. One such thing is my love of stationery.

Paperchase has really been raising their creative limbo bar with their Wonderland collection. I found myself unable to resist a few items:

I also managed to get my mitts on a nice selection of items from San X's Sentimental Circus. I fell in like with the demented cute stiched up bunny after receiving a letter from the lovely Rouge Deluxe.

I do like "writing" letters! It's a method of correspondence less used between friends these days......that's a little sad.

  1. Haha, I'm so happy to find someone else who also likes Sentimental Circus! The Kinokuniya bookstore in Singapore had a big cushion of the bunny's head, but I passed on it as I already have enough clutter in my life. But every now and then, I wish I had bought it!

  2. I used to have many 'penpals' who I used to write to and eagerly await letters back from when I was younger. I stalked the cutest shops in China for writing papers and now I have a stockpile of it in my cupboard as nobody writes anymore...

The paper is cute though, you can use it as note paper, to leave cute notes for Hiro! :)

  3. I love stationary as well~ and yes, I do miss snail mail! I remember...I used to have a friend that lived two streets down from me, and I still sent her snail mail - stamp and all. heh heh.

Super cute stationary picks though! Will have to check out Paper Chase the next time I'm near one. ^^

  6. I used to have a pen pal, but she prefers internet communication now, which makes me sad. But I do get to use my stationary and pretty pens when I send notes to my blogging buddies, so it's not all bad!

Your handwriting is very loopy and pretty :D

The paper is so pretty! Yes, it's so sad how written correspondence has fallen by the wayside.

  9. Awwww!! So great to know that I'm not the last remaining stationary fan! XD I agree that it's a little bit sad that we all switched to emails and text messages instead. however, it's more convenient... :P

  10. I too am unable to resist the lure of pretty stationary! My other half has to physically drag me out of Paperchase because I could quite happily spend hours in there! :) I totally agree with you about the letters thing. I miss having penpals and writing letters to my mates! :( I've got a whole box full of pretty letter sets from San X and Paperchase gathering dust in a drawer! Maybe we should start up some kind of Bloggers Penpal club! :) xxx

  11. OMG! I love Sentimental Circus too! I'm actually currently using the lanyard and key cover. I have a small notepad too, but I haven't bought a letter paper set yet since I have such a ridiculous collection of letter paper... I rarely write letters anymore though I always want to and I'm afraid it'll take me years to get through my current collection... I'm sorely tempted though haha. I might have to go get a set just because it's Sentimental Circus. =)

  12. lovely stationery :) I used to have lots of penpals when I was younger and I'd buy all kinds of cute stationery when I went overseas, but most of it is stockpiled in boxes because everyone uses email or facebook now.
