Earl Grey Tea + Chocolate Truffle

You would be forgiven if you thought that I was referring to my Sunday afternoon teatime.I am actually talking about the new additions to the My Beauty Diary sheet mask family. I have to applaud the folk in charge of packaging for MBD as they do a fine job and it gets me every time. These new additions make up part of the "Afternoon Tea" collection and my not-so-spidey senses have a feeling that this this going to me a big hit in the Far East.

I bought these as soon as I spotted them on Ebay and was mightily chuffed when they were unceremoniously plonked on my desk.

Those who know me, know that I am slightly dementedly but utterly fanatical about tea and Earl Grey is one of my particular favourites. I am thus happy as larry to report that this sheet mask is a little joy!

Don't expect a punch in the nose of bergamot scent, for you will be somewhat miffed. What you do get is a delicate tea scent with a waft of bergamot and very little macaron. This may be a disappointment for some, but I have to say that, that suits me down to a .....tea (fancy that).

The mask is marketed as being illuminating and clarifying. I have gone through 4 of these now and have not noticed an illuminating effect (still no glowing halo visible about my mug), but it is clarifying and soothing. This makes a nice treat and is a great way to boost some moisture into drier skin types.

Now for the chocolate truffles:

I have to admit that I have not tried these. In fact, chocolate scented products don't do it for me! So I would like to give them away!! I have 4 sets of 2 up for the grabbing for my UK readers. The 1st 4 followers that drop their remarks in my comment box win! Simples.

I am offering these to UK readers as I know that these are pretty hard to come by over here. Now get commenting.

  17. the earl grey mask sounds lovely! I'm not a huge fan of the chocolate masks either, even though I love eating anything chocolate, but the truffle mask sounds like it would be a nice treat
