A Clean Supreme

I got my hands on a Clarisonic Mia.

I have heard mixed reviews from others but the one thing that people seem to agree upon is that the Clarisonic does reduce gaping big "mind the gap" pores.

So here I am jumping onto the bandwagon expecting small miracles.

I use the "delicate" brush head. I understand that this is the gentlest of the bunch. I started by using this daily in the evenings and for a week it worked a treat. However, on the second it week felt a little too harsh and so I am now comfortably brushing my face 4 times a week.

So far, I am really enjoying the experience. In fact, I look forward to it.

I have been using the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash (the UK stuff) which is bloomin' exceptional if you ask me.

I also use the Cow Brand Mu Tenka cleanser which is equally brilliant only harder to get hold of.

Thus far, my skin does seem brighter and I have had a few compliments from people I haven't seen for a while. Let's hope this continues to be a happy partnership.............Hurry up and shrink my pores!

The Clarisonic Mia is not easily available in UK but will be available from SpaceNK around the 11th March.

  1. Ah, you finally got one! I actually use my Clarisonic (first a full size, now a Mia) every day with the sensitive head... but I've had it for almost 3 years so I think my skin is used to the exfoliation! I still find the normal brush head way too rough so I use it more as a body brush. I noticed an improvement in pore size after a few weeks... suddenly I wasn't pulling as much gunk out with pore strips!
I only do one every 4 weeks now (and I think my nose looks OK in photos, haha).

I'm finishing up a wash now, and then I'm onto the cow soap! Can't wait :)

  2. I love my Mia (it's pink, because I enjoy pink things)! I hope you get good results with yours. I think I can agree that it does help with reducing the visibility of pores. Good luck!! :)

  4. Please do let me know how you go with the Cow wash.

Yes the normal head must be rather harsh. I only have the sensitive and the delicate one and the latter is nicer for now. I wonder if I will prefer the sensitive one in summer?

Perhaps I ought to try this. Shall purchase when next in London.

  9. I am still 'in like' with my Clarisonic, but my face can't take using it every day. I use this every other day.
