Your restless curator returns!

Here is a quick and breezy glimpse of my glimpses. You guess right if you expect more in the next few weeks.

These pics were taken with my old pocket pal the Sony T10. I also took a couple of film cameras out there and now I cannot wait to get my rolls developed.

Cape Town is a beautiful but in many ways peculiar place to me. Being a Kenyan born girl, many places in the Cape feel almost like being in Europe again. I suppose that is much to do with the history of these lands? Far from complaining, I enjoyed taking an outsiders glance into what is truly a unique vibe.

  2. Waaaaay hay! Mama Africa! Brings back memories and what better person to do that than your incredible photography.

I know it comes from an authentic love of the place. What you see and shoot has the unique vision of, as you put it, - an outsiders glance into what is truly a unique vibe.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. ohhhh, fantastic pictures...it feels like I am almost there, especially with the central heating on...ha ha

Yeh, South Africa has this particular history that has given it a so-called Western vibe. I have never been there personally, but the stories and pictures always suggest so. You see something alike with Argentina, also on the bottom (or top, depends how you see the world map) of South Africa. Oh darn, I tend to get political on your lovely blog ;p

Seems you have a good time and letting al the inpirations flow to you...:D
